What is an automatic car?
An automatic car consists of 2 pedals, the brake pedal and the accelerator.
An automatic car is fitted with a gearbox that automatically selects the appropriate gear depending on the speed the car is travelling at. This generally means that people find it easier to drive an automatic car as it’s one less thing to think about. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving and controlling the car.
