Kevin Adams
Instructor Trainer
Kevin qualified as an A.D.I. in 1987 and has worked in the industry ever since.
He was involved in Instructor training with a major national driving school from 1988 to 2009. During his time with that company he served in a variety of roles in the instructor training and development department.
He delivered training to trainee and qualified driving instructors and was responsible for quality control across the UK for the company’s instructor training centres.
He also held several management positions in the company and was part of a team that developed training courses for internal and external clients covering all aspects of driver training from hazard perception for learners to company driver risk assessments. He was also involved in the development of specialist instructors for mobility teaching.
In addition to being a Grade A approved driving instructor, Kevin also has a diploma in driving instruction as well as BTec and NVQ qualifications in driver training. He has a certificate in Adult teaching and has been a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists for 30 years. He was on the DVSA Fleet trainer register for many years.
Kevin has run his own very successful driving school since 2011 and joined Escort in 2017 as their Instructor trainer and Fleet trainer.
